Here in the heart of Southport, our doors open every day and we are certainly not just for Sundays!
Christ Church is an Evangelical Anglican town-centred gathered congregation. The core activities of Worship and Prayer are supported by a raft of programmes designed around our mission statement – Christ Church offering real hope through Jesus today.
9:30 am Service
Our 9.30 am service has a gentle feel with familiar content and hymns.
11:00 am Service
This is a family orientated service, band led, with a crèche and activities for the children and young people.
6:30 pm Cafe Church
Cafe Church at 6.30 pm is very informal, with plenty of coffee, tea, and cake!
First Sunday of the Month
On the first Sunday morning of the month there is one service at 10:30am and is intended to have a familiar feel, especially designed for those who may not be accustomed to 21st century church worship. Coffee and cake is served at 10am.
On the first Sunday evening of the month there is an extended worship time at 6:30pm which includes Holy Communion and prayer ministry.
Latest News & Events
On Sunday morning, 23rd April, there is a joint service at 10.30am, followed by the APCM. In the evening at 6.30pm there will be a time of prayer and communion, to pray for the mission of Christ Church. Please come along.
If you are a young adult (18 to early twenties), Steve and Andrea area holding a group for you that will run until the summer. It starts on Monday, 24th April, 7.30pm at the vicarage.

Midweek Music is a series of free, Wednesday lunch-time concerts in the Church and are open to everybody. Concerts include a wide variety of vocalists and instrumentalists including harpists, harpsichordists, string and woodwind players.
